Getting started
What is Miles Mosaic?
Miles Mosaic helps you track and optimize your flight and hotel loyalty earnings accross various loyalty programs. Add flights/stays, see progress toward status, and plan smarter.
Do I need an account to use it?
You can explore some features without logging in. Creating an account enables saved data, dashboards, status projections, and more.
Is there a mobile app?
A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap. Today, the web experience is mobile‑responsive and works well on phones and tablets.
Accounts & privacy
How is my data stored and protected?
Data is stored in a secure database. We follow a privacy-by-design approach and will evolve controls (export, delete, consent) for compliance as features expand.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Both CSV export and delete‑my‑data requests are available from the Profile area. Deletion is permanent and removes your account plus the loyalty programmes, flights, and stays you have logged.
Do you share my data with advertisers?
Advertising may appear for free accounts. We do not sell personally identifiable data. Aggregated analytics may be used to improve features and content.
Flights & fare classes
How do fare classes affect mileage earnings?
Different booking codes (A–Z) earn different percentages per airline. Use the Fare Class Earning table and airline rules in the app to plan bookings.
Can I track award flights and zero‑earn bookings?
Yes. You can set custom earn rates, including 0 where applicable.
What if my airline changes its earning chart?
We aim to keep charts current. You can also override an earning value per entry if your ticket has a special case.
Hotels & stays
Do you support elite night and rollover logic?
Miles Mosaic tracks elite nights and can account for rollover where a program supports it. Program‑specific nuances are configurable.
Can I track partner hotel earnings into airline miles?
Yes. Record the stay and select the convert-to-airline option with the partner ratio so both sides are captured.
Dashboard & reports
What insights can I see on the dashboard?
You’ll see year‑to‑date earnings, status progress, program mix, and fly/stay projections with simple charts.
Can I filter by airline, alliance, or hotel brand?
Yes. Use the dashboard filters to slice by airline/alliance, hotel chain/brand, time range, and more.
Will you predict if I’ll requalify for status?
Yes. The status projection factors in your current pace and upcoming trips to estimate requalification likelihood.
Import / Export
Can I import past flights and stays from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Use the CSV/Excel import template. Map columns like date, route, fare class, program, and points.
Can I export my data?
Export to CSV/Excel from the transactions pages or the account area.
Integrations & APIs
Do you pull flight data automatically?
We’re prototyping options with flight information APIs. Today, entries are manual with assistive autofill for common fields.
Will there be a public API?
Planned. An authenticated API for personal exports and automations is on the roadmap.
Plans, billing & ads
Is Miles Mosaic free?
Yes. The Explorer tier is free forever and ad-supported. The Pro tier is $14.99 per month, removes ads, and unlocks the scenario simulator, expiry forecasting, the Year-in-Review, and the Studio share-card generator. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
Why do I see ads?
Ads on Explorer keep the free tier sustainable for everyone. Pro subscribers do not see ads. We use Google AdSense on editorial articles and selected dashboard placements; we never sell or share personally identifiable data.
Troubleshooting
My verification code worked but I’m redirected to the wrong page.
Clear cache/cookies and retry. If the issue persists, contact support with your browser and timestamp. We continuously improve redirects post‑verification.
I can’t find a fare class or earn rate.
Use a custom override for that entry and let us know the missing rule so we can update the shared chart.
Trips & itineraries
What is a trip in Miles Mosaic?
A trip groups flights and stays into a single journey — a multi-segment route with layovers, hotel stays in between, and the dates that tie them together. Each flight or stay row inside a trip is also stored as a normal flight/stay record so it counts toward your tier credit math automatically.
How do I plan a multi-segment trip?
Click Plan a trip in the Add menu or on Main → Trips. Inside the drawer, add a flight, then add the next flight — if the second flight's origin matches the first flight's destination, a layover chip appears between them where you can enter the layover time. Add a stay between flights to break the journey with a hotel night.
What is a layover vs open-jaw?
Between two consecutive flights, a layover chip appears when the destination of the first matches the origin of the second — you can edit or clear the time there. When the airports differ, an open-jaw chip shows the gap (e.g. you fly into BCN but out of ALC). Open-jaws are read-only — they describe the relationship between the two flights, they aren't stored on the trip.
Quick mode vs full mode for adding rows
Quick mode keeps a row to a single line — for a flight that means date + flight number + origin + destination, for a stay it means hotel name + check-in + check-out. When you blur the flight number, Atlas tries to fetch the airline + route + distance in the background. You can always expand a quick row later to fill in cabin class, seat, points, fare, and the other details.
What happens to my flights and stays when I delete a trip?
When you click Delete trip on a trip card, the overlay lists every linked flight and stay as a checkbox row. The trip itself is always removed. Items you check are also soft-deleted; items you leave unchecked stay in your records but are unlinked from the trip.
Can I share a trip itinerary?
Yes — every trip card on Main → Trips has a View / share icon. It opens a copy-friendly plaintext rendering of the itinerary that you can drop into WhatsApp, email, or any chat app.
