Getting Started
What Miles Mosaic is, how signup works, and what to expect before you log a single flight or stay.
What is Miles Mosaic?+
Miles Mosaic is a privacy-first travel-loyalty tracker built for people who want one place to monitor airline miles, hotel points, elite progress, and trip history without juggling spreadsheets. The product focuses on clarity: what you already have, what is expiring, and how close you are to the next useful milestone.
How do I create an account?+
Use the registration page to sign up with an email and password, or use Google sign-in if that is easier for you. New registrations also surface current trial and onboarding messaging before you reach the dashboard.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Explorer is the free tier and gives you the core dashboard, recent activity views, and basic elite-progress visibility so you can start tracking before deciding whether the premium planning tools are worth it for your travel pattern.
Do I need to connect my airline, hotel, or bank accounts?+
No. Miles Mosaic is built around user-controlled inputs. You add the programmes, balances, flights, stays, and notes you care about; the product does not require bank credentials or loyalty-account passwords to be useful, and we will never request them.
How do I import flights into Miles Mosaic?+
Three import paths: Smart Upload (Pro) drops a PDF boarding pass, screenshot, or itinerary email onto the dashboard tile and we extract the flight automatically; Add Flight lets you enter origin, destination, date and programme manually in under a minute; Bulk Import takes a CSV paste, useful if you are migrating from another tracker.
Tracking your programmes
How the tracker actually behaves once your data is in: what counts as a programme, how elite progress is shown, and how expiry is handled.
How do I connect a new loyalty programme?+
Miles Mosaic never connects to programmes by API or scraping. Adding a programme means typing in your current balance, the tier you hold, and an optional goal tier. We pre-load programme rules (earn rates, expiry, status thresholds) for 30+ airlines and hotel groups, so once your balance is in, the projections appear immediately.
What can I track inside Miles Mosaic?+
Flights, hotel stays, loyalty-programme memberships, mileage balances, and elite-status progress in one account. The product is built so airline and hotel activity sit in the same workflow, so you see the broader portfolio instead of treating each programme in isolation.
How do elite progress and the planning simulator differ?+
Explorer shows the core visibility layer: where you stand today. Pro adds the pace view and a simulator-style planning workflow so you can move from passive tracking to asking better questions, such as whether the next trip meaningfully changes your qualification path.
Can Miles Mosaic help me watch expiration dates?+
Yes. Expiry monitoring is built into the alerting system. Explorer defaults to a lighter reminder set; Pro can use broader lead windows for expiration alerts. The dashboard also surfaces expiring balances and status deadlines inline when relevant data is available.
Can I keep using the site on mobile?+
Yes. Miles Mosaic ships with a manifest and service worker, so the site behaves like a modern installable web app on supported devices. Use it in the browser, or add it to your home screen for faster repeat access. There is no separate native app to download.
Where should I start if something looks wrong in my dashboard?+
Check the obvious inputs first: plan limits, programme selection, flight or stay dates, and expiration settings. Many support issues come from incomplete source data rather than a broken calculation. If the numbers still look wrong, send the contact form a concise reproduction with screenshots and the programme involved so we can investigate without guesswork.
Pro plan
Pricing, billing, cancellation, and the features that sit behind the Pro line.
How much does Pro cost?+
Pro is $14.99 per month, billed in advance and renewing each calendar month until you cancel. Prices are inclusive of any VAT that applies in your country; the breakdown appears on the receipt. Explorer remains free. The live source of truth is the pricing page.
How does Smart Upload work?+
Smart Upload (Pro) parses PDFs, screenshots, and itinerary emails to extract flight and stay records. We use OCR plus a structured parser, then ask you to confirm the result before saving. The uploaded file is deleted once parsed; we only retain the structured fields you confirm.
How do I cancel Pro?+
Cancel from Plan & billing in the dashboard, or write to billing@milesmosaic.com. You keep Pro features until the end of the current paid month, and no further charge is made.
Do you offer refunds?+
The terms are explicit: subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable. That applies to unused time, downgrades, and partial periods. Read the terms of service before purchasing if refund flexibility matters to you.
I forgot my password.+
Use the ‘Forgot your password?’ link on the login page. We email a time-limited reset link to the address on file. If you originally signed in with Google, use the ‘Continue with Google’ button instead of a password reset.
Privacy + data
What we collect, what we deliberately don’t, and how editorial conflicts are handled.
What data does Miles Mosaic collect?+
The minimum we need to run the tracker. Account fields, the programme balances you type in, and the technical access logs needed for security. We never store loyalty-programme passwords. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
Does Miles Mosaic sell my data?+
No. We never sell, rent, or share personal data with marketing brokers, data brokers, list resellers, or advertisers. We also do not maintain any ‘audience segment’ product. The full list of what we don’t do is in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?+
Account deletion is one click from Profile · Account. Tracker data and most of the account record are removed within 30 days. Billing records are retained for 7 years as Singapore tax law requires.
How is your editorial funded?+
Three sources: reader subscriptions (Pro), display advertising on the Explorer tier (Google AdSense, with clearly labelled placements), and a small affiliate revenue line on credit-card and shopping-portal links. Articles containing affiliate links carry an above-the-fold banner. Full disclosure in our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
How do I report a factual error in an article?+
Use the contact form. Verified corrections are added to the bottom of the affected article with the date, what changed, and why, and logged on the corrections page.
Still stuck?
Use the contact form and we’ll answer within two business days, usually much sooner. Include the programme name, the page you were on, and a short reproduction if you can.
