From 1 April 2026, British Airways adds a fixed number of Tier Points to each individual flight, on top of the Tier Points from your fare, set by haul, cabin and fare type. On short haul, Euro Traveller earns 75, 175 or 275 on a Plus, Semi-Flex or Fully-Flex fare, and Club Europe earns 175, 275 or 375 on a Business, Semi-Flex or Fully-Flex fare. On long haul, World Traveller earns 150, 250, 350 or 450 on a Standard, Semi-Flex, Flex or Fully-Flex fare, World Traveller Plus earns 275, 375, 475 or 575 on a Premium Economy, Semi-Flex, Flex or Fully-Flex fare, Club World earns 500, 700, 900 or 1,100 on a Business, Semi-Flex, Flex or Fully-Flex fare, and First earns 650, 850, 1,050 or 1,250 on a First, Semi-Flex, Flex or Fully-Flex fare. Basic Economy fares earn no extra. Every flight counts separately, so a direct return is two flights. On American Airlines and Iberia flights, the extra depends on the cabin only: 75 in economy and 175 in business on short haul, and 150 in economy, 275 in premium economy, 500 in business and 650 in First on long haul.

British Airways Club Tier Points on a British Airways flight come in two parts. The first is 1 Tier Point per GBP 1 of eligible spend, where eligible spend is the fare plus any carrier-imposed charges, and airport and government taxes are excluded. The second, since 1 April 2026, is a fixed number of extra Tier Points for each individual flight, set by the haul, cabin and fare type: from 75 on a short haul Euro Traveller Plus fare to 1,250 on a long haul First Fully-Flex fare, and none on a Basic Economy fare. Flights marketed by American Airlines or Iberia have also earned on total eligible spend since 1 April 2025, plus an extra per flight by cabin, but British Airways does not publish the Tier Point rate for those fares, so they are not priced here. On most other partner airlines, Tier Points come from a published fare-class percentage of the distance flown instead (China Southern and LATAM earn none), and those partner tables are not loaded here yet, so partner mode says a rate is not on file rather than guessing one.
