The unusual thing about Choice Privileges is that there is no stay requirement to receive the match itself. Most offers on this site hand you a trial and make you earn it inside 90 days. Choice matches comparable hotel elite status to Gold or Platinum and leaves it there. There is no fee.

There is one documented route higher: staying a single night at a Cambria Hotel can qualify you for Diamond. That is a low bar for a top-tier outcome, so if a Cambria property is somewhere you would plausibly stay, making it your first Choice night is the obvious move.

The application is not a web form. You email a screenshot, membership card, or recent statement showing your current tier to the regional status-match address, so expect it to be slower and less automated than the airline offers here. We could not confirm a processing time, because Choice does not publish one in the terms we read. Do not apply the week before a trip and assume it will land.
