As of August 2026, a Chase Ultimate Rewards is worth about 2.00 US cents per point toward typical redemptions. That makes 50,000 points worth roughly $1,000. This free calculator converts any Chase Ultimate Rewards balance into its USD value. Actual value depends on how you redeem; premium-cabin awards often beat economy.

Does 2.00¢ per point match what you have gotten from Chase Ultimate Rewards?
Not every Ultimate Rewards balance can reach an airline or hotel partner. Chase restricts travel transfers to cardholders who hold the Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred; a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited balance on its own is stuck redeeming through the flat-rate portal or cash back until it is combined into an account that also holds one of those three cards, a pairing frequent-flyer forums call the "Chase trifecta." Transfer speed also varies by partner: some partners land within minutes while others can take up to a day or two to post, which matters when trying to lock in Award space before it disappears. The roster leans toward carriers most competitors skip, including Southwest Rapid Rewards, IHG One Rewards, Singapore KrisFlyer, and Aer Lingus AerClub, so a Chase balance can reach programmes an Amex or Citi cardholder would need a separate card to access. Approval itself is gated by an underwriting rule the community calls 5/24: Chase generally declines a new rewards card application from anyone who has opened five or more personal credit cards, from any bank, in the trailing 24 months, a hurdle none of the other issuers on this page enforce in the same blanket way.
